Hi, my name is Peyton Runyan, owner and trainer at Downtown K9. My mission is to help people live happily and easily with their dogs.

Urban and suburban living creates a variety of unique challenges for dogs that can be difficult to overcome. Obedience in stimulating environments isn’t easy, and behaviors such as leash pulling and reactivity can be a major hurdle when living in close proximity.

I teach owners how to effectively communicate and work with their dogs to solve their issues and create an easy, relaxed relationship with their canine companions.

Nothing is worse than the anxiety of not knowing how to properly respond when you and your dog face a challenging situation. It can turn something that should be enjoyable, such as having visitors over, or taking your furry companion for a walk, into something that you dread.

We will work together to develop the necessary tools and skills for you and your dog to navigate these situations with grace.
