I have been actively working with dogs for over 10 years, in capacities including training, boarding and sitting, and as a veterinary technician. I am a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and believe in continuously working to develop as a trainer.

I studied Biology at Texas Southern University, where I was president of the both the Pre-Veterinary Society and Biology Honors Society (TriBeta). I absolutely love staying up-to-date on science-based methods, and have extensive experience translating technical details into something practical that owners can immediately incorporate into their own lives.

Perhaps most importantly for many of my clients, I’ve also had my own difficult dogs. I know the challenges of integrating a rescue into the household. I have personally been through the experience of owning a reactive dog, with all of the management and training that it entails. I know the difficulties that arise once a seemingly successful lesson ends, and your regular life with your dog resumes again, away from the trainer. I make sure to bring this perspective with me as I work with you to build out training plans.

Hi, I’m Peyton Runyan.
